Hi Fretless,I didn't realize you had a Vinyl One (or I forgot!). Who did you get your Telefunkens from? Or who do you recommend now?
I'm temporarily running some E-H 12ax7s in my Vinyl One but plan to put my Mullard 4004s back into it. I had a slight lean-ness situation going in my system and thought it could be the tubes, but now I just think it was the Ruby 3H breaking in. Even though it had 60+ hours on it when this happened. Apparently the Ruby takes about 100 hours to really burn-in well.
Are you still thinking about purchasing an Avid Volvere?
