What did you pay for the the UK pressing and is the matrix XEX 579-1?If so its known as the "Loud Cut" pressing ,these sell for more than other matrix nos.Re your blemish,If in the pressing ,in my experience they generally play ok,if not you may have a problem.
I presume your not going to play it until its cleaned?
