Tubes,I have 300-400 hours on the Mullards, not even close to your Golden Dragons. I appreciate your suggestions, infor, and kind offer! I'll keep it in mind if my "testing", additional cartridge break-in and VTA/VTF adjustment does not remedy the problem.
One thing I am still perplexed by is the fact that the Ruby 3 sounded great after a couple hours, then the leaness started and has seemed to get worse (a very subjective observation I realize). And I have not able to correct it through many VTA/VTF adjustments.
I sure hope the problem is not a defect in the Ruby 3.
