My vinyl system is sounding lean.........

I've been waiting for my Benz Ruby 3H to break-in and add fullness and body to the sonics of my system. It ain't happenin' and there's 70 hours on the Ruby 3 now so I'm thinking its either the cartridge, or the cartridge is so neutral that its emphasizing other items such as my turntable-tonearm combo. It didn't seem lean with the Benz Glider 2 prior to the Ruby 3.

It sounds quite good other than the excessive leaness (i.e., cymbals and triangles have short decays and they just sound "thin", bass isn't full either). I've tried many VTA and VTF adjustments.

Ideas and input are most welcome!

System: Ruby 3H > OL Encounter > Avid Volvere > Art Audio Vinyl One > Cardas Golden Reference IC > Plinius 9200 > Nordost SuperFlatline > Meadowlark Osprey speakers.
