I bought a trashed one at the flea market this weekend, I was going to muck about with it (destroy it) for a DIY record cleaner project.. but now I'm wondering if that would be a bad thing to do?
Any value in refurbushing it?
It feels wrong to destroy things that are no longer made.. (Like the interior designer aquaintance who spray-painted hundreds of 7" singles to use as invitations for a party - I grilled her about where they came from - apparently an old 60's juke box - which was probably filled with awesome soul and r&b hits!)
