Deep Purple LP sonic quality

Thought I'd pick up a Deep Purple LP to replace my long disappeared ones. What do you guys think of the sound quality of Deep Purple Live at the BBC (Acoustech Mastering) and Deep Purple Made in Japan (Simply Vinyl) if I was selecting only one of the two?
I searched the archives but did not find anything that clearly helped although a poster or two said that the "Made in Japan" performance was a must-have because it is the band at their best.
