but over the last month or two there have been a large number of various mint desirable items up for cheap in 24hr ebay auctions that look like they were written by the same person but listed under different sellers ID's with good feedback that appear legitimate located all over the map, while the item location is always listed as Beverly Hills.
The auctions are yanked by ebay after several hours, just to have them pop up again under a different ID. The ad asks you to email the seller before bidding.
To me it seems like legitimate sellers' IDs are being used by this one bogus seller. Perhaps this person somehow obtains account passwords from responders to the ads, or maybe from ebayers responding to some of those bogus ebay emails that ask you to sign in to confirm your account information.
I hope ebay is going to beat this one.
