I actually have 2 DP59L's. One with the stock arm, and one where I replaced that with a SME 3009. The one with the stock arm, to these ears, sounds every bit as good.The DP-59L is not your run of the mill DD turntable. This is why they fetch such big $$$. It's maybe one of the best motors ever designed for a DD turntable.
