How old is your Orbe? The reason I ask is that there was a problem with resonance with the older type of "Armboard" spacers,they were made of metal.The later A/B spacers are made of black acrylic or something similair,these resolved the problem.
If your Orbe has silver or bronze spacers,they are definitely metal by all accounts,if they are black they could be anodised metal.
I think Michell changed these around about the late nineties.
