Benz Ruby 3 ==) Almost finished with 2 year system upgrade project

Recently purchased a Benz Ruby 3 HO based on comments here and my previous positive Benz experiences. I have 10 hours on it and will post initial impressions after more listening.

Previous to that, I purchased an Avid Volvere turntable 3 months ago to replace my 15 year old (and beloved!) SOTA Star turntable. I had a chance to listen to about 30 LPs before my Benz Glider cartridge died, apparently due to pre-mature suspension failure (350 hours on it). I'll also post a mini-review on the Avid, after the new Benz breaks in and I have more hours on the TT/cartridge. Tonearm remained the OL Encounter from the SOTA days.

What's left in the upgrade project? A decent rack. Zoethecus and Mapleshade are the top contenders although the Mapleshade's weight may not be an advantage on our suspended (but solid) hardwood floor.

Many thanks to Ray-O-Stat, Fretless, Fred J, Alan G, and several others with the diagnosis of my Benz Glider failure and suggestions for equipment over the past year or so!
