One should not forget that, in order to adapt to variable modulation amplitudes in the bass area, yet to get as much as possible onto a side, groove spacing is not constant over the record.You could set linear advance speed of the cutting head to a constant and safe value such that there's always a land between adjacent grooves but then you get maybe one track less op the side. So the advance speed of the head varies in order to take both issues into acount. Which means that also the tonearm has to follow this variable speed, hence slight left-right movements, even on perfectly centred records. High effective mass is an obstacle since it will keep the arm more in position than a lighter arm so it's the stylus that will follow that groove movement. A stylus moving realtive to the cartridge body means electrical output.
Therefore, from a purely theoretical point of view, I would consider these Dynavector arms not as brilliant.
