The detailed information is much appreciated. Some very nice ideas and some sublime truths as well (if you get A, you'll always wonder what B sounds like). I need to mull over the responses and plan my approach . . . . maybe flip a coin. Either way it will be better than what I had before. I think I obsess too much about audio components. The truth is you can never have too many turntables - you can just have too little space to keep them all.The Ebay used SL1200 approach would be good except for the high risk of ending up with a DJ-trashed table. Best to get the KAB combo.
I think I'll take my DL-103 cart down to try it on the Audio Note table - might just be an excellent combo. Then the money I save on an AN cart can go toward the KAB combo. Perhaps mission accomplished.
