I think you have a good point about collaborating data

to ensure that the MCME doesn't cause problems. However, as Fred mentions below, there are many of us that have used the MCME for quite a while without problem. I noticed such an improvement, that I went from using it every 5 to 7 LPs to using it every other LP. That's why I posed the question.

And I believe that I'm using the MCME as recommended -- although its somewhat more difficult with my new turntable because it doesn't have a plinth to rest my hand on, so I am holding the MCME in the air while cueing the tonearm/stylus down onto it.
