K&K Phono SE vs Hagerman Trumpet?

A Trumpet used is approx same price as the K&K phono kit. I understand they have somewhat different qualities (Trumpet more forward and dynamic, K&K more laidback and lush), but in absolute terms, does any anyone have an opinion on the better value?
For what it's worth, my associated equipment:
MM (Virt. Wood) cartridge, Nottingham Spacedeck,
Rogue Tempest, Silverline Sonatina, REL Storm
