Just bought a low mileage Lyra Argo,ex dem OL Illustrious to replace a fully modded RB250 and Denon DL304.
Initially fitted it up and it sounded fine,except it was a little harsh,but nice and open.
Done a bit of research and found that the arm pivot to stylus tip needed shortening a little,which I've done.
It now sounds less harsh but not as open,more velvety if that makes sense,but still very nice.
The VTA adjuster is at it lowest setting on the arm,so I cannot raise the stylus,which I think maybe needed?
