Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

I've had nothing but good luck...

...with my Perspec.ive. I know it's hard to judge/demo tables (and table/c.rt c.mbos) but I like it's presentation over the P25/Dyn in the same room, same system. The Rega was more detailed and faster, but the Pro-Jec. was more fleshed-out and "bigger" sounding. Was this due to the c.rt? The table itself? Dunno... but at $400ish less, it was easy for me to make a dec.sion. Granted - the Regas are upgradable and damn... the arms are sexy. I simply went with what I personally liked a bit better.

A friend of mine has the Pro-Jec. 2.1/Grado Gold. Knowing a bit about your preferenc.s, this level of rig might fit the bill.

As previously noted, the least expensive Pro-Jec.s would PROBABLY be a sideways move. I would demo at home before buying.

Yeah... maybe a new c.rt? Phono stage? Hard to say.

Let us know what happens...
