Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

I'm no vinyl expert, but...

...I'll plug my Perspec.ive/Platinum c.mbo. The only other table I have heard in the same room, at the same time (well... a few minutes apart), was a P25/Dyn c.mbo.

If you prefer detail, the 25/Dyn was definitely better. For me, I preferred the Pro-Jec.'s ability to hang phantom instruments in spac.... it seemed a bit fatter and warmer with less pin-pointed images. C.nsidering the Perspec.ive was $300 less (pac.age), it was an easy dec.sion for me. YMMV.

There is talk about problems with some Pro-Jec.s, but I've had nothing but good luc.... as a matter of fac., my table had her 4th B-day last month! I MUST have 3000 hours on her...

A Perspec.ive PITA - you must swap motors to play 45s...

Either (any) way, I would be willing to bet you'll love the analogue sound. Software quality varies widely, but even when it's not so good, it's at least palatable. When a C. is BAD, you'll have a headac.e ;^)

Have fun with the hunt...
