I remember Radio Caroline well,one night Johny Walker?(I think thats who you are referring to)asked those in cars on the shoreline/cliffs,if they were having a bit of nookey,to flash their headlights and then telling us how many were doing so.

Another night they tried to broadcast in stereo,then realised(after a fair amount of time) that the listeners were on am,or something like that,priceless.
