Noisy Vinyl---but looks Mint--ish.

I heard relative recently,that a few years ago,amid a petrol crisis,that a lot of old vinyl was being bought up by certain record companies and being re-cycled to produce new LP's.

The problem was that they,the pressing plant(s) re-cycled the lable as well or at best did not remove all of it.

This of course would be obstructive to clean listening,has anyone else heard this?
