I would NEVER purchase "genuine" autographs on eBay. First of all, even if they come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), it could still be fake. COA's are not legal contracts in any way shape or form. Secondly, you have no way of seeing it up close and comparing it w/ a true autograph.

Autograph hounds really have to do their research. Look on eBay for Tiger Woods autographed golf balls. They sell like hotcakes, but the unwitting buyers didnt consider something: TIGER DOESNT SIGN GOLF BALLS! He has stated this fact many times over, but nobody on eBay seems to care. I even sent eBay this information and the source of it to no avail.

Unless you have definitive proof of an autograph which is nearly impossible unless you are there, in person, AVOID!
