The RRL vinyl wash definitely needs a surfactant added in my opinion. It just seems to me that one would get better results if the fluid was able to coat the grooves, flooding out the crud.Most people here advocate the use of the RRL fluids without any rinse at all. I guess the drawback would be adding something to the mix that would potentially leave a residue on the record.
I have thought about it, but not actually tried it yet. Let us know your results.
