Wonderful combo and the brush is very useful for taming tonearm/cartridge resonances. The Shure on the JMW-9 is the only cartridge I have tested that can produce a pure 45 degree angle on a scope using a stereo test record through over 50% of the frequency range. Most produce ovals and circles for a large part of the frequency spectrum. Price is not a factor hear, some of the most expensive are the worst. Don't ask, I will not tell.We will have as anti-skate device for the JMW arms before the summer and it will be easily retrofittable. More important, you will not hear it work!!!!
Let your Scout run overnight to break in the motor and platter bearing. UPS beats the hell out of these tables even though the packaging is beyond reproach. Use the table, the more you use it the better it will sound.
