OK to use Express Machining Heavy Weight w/ VPI JMW-9?

Not sure if these are designed ONLY for use with Rega RB tonearms and wondering if there is any "danger" trying it on the JMW-9 (on Scout with Dynavector 20X cart).
Or, do I need to use VPI's own dropped-weight?
