I have two Rega 3's, both stock when I got them. I did the following to one of them:
New P3 motor
Incognito tonearm wiring
Express Machining heavyweight
Rega Exact cartridge ($280 on ebay)No contest. The hot rodded TT blows the stock one (Elys cartridge) away. Huge difference in all respects, but since I made all the chages at once I don't know what the incremental improvement for each change was.
