Hi Shane:Mechanically, the ARO is a very good arm, but AFAIK, the tracking geometry doesn't ideally suit the Helikon. I believe that the ARO wants a cartridge that has the stylus tip exactly 7.0mm in front of the mounting screws. The closest match would be one of the Linn cartridges. The Helikon is more like 8.5mm, so unless you elongate the Aro headshell holes for the mounting screws, the tracking geometry won't be quite right. I know that there are a number of ARO/Helikon users, but I consider a 1.5mm overhang error to be pretty significant.
A Baerwald alignment via the WallyTractor should be fine.
By lube I mean a vegetable oil. The Helikon body is painted in automotive enamel, and petroleum-based oils are not recommended. I dip only the thread part of the screws into the oil, then very lightly tissue off the excess. I make sure that the screw-threads still "hold" some oil, but the screws definitely should not be dripping.
