donate the entire collection to the Library of Congress, a well known audio library like UC Santa Barbara, or a museum.
His Shellac records are so fragile, so rare, and irreplaceable. He has Robert Johnson and Charley Patton in near mint condition. Those are $10000+ recordings.
Another option would be a super interested and rich person that would keep everything together and allow visitors to view and listen following a reasonable entrance fee. In addition, only the owner or a qualified assistant would handle the records. Someone like Jack White maybe?
I know of two well known collectors that would love to cherry pick the whole collection, and I would hate to see that. Hopefully, the daughter is well off and won't let that happen.
