store was still being used at 3:40pm after opening at 10:00am. One couple camped in a small RV in the parking lot to be first in line in the morning.
I didn't show until 3:40pm hoping the crowds would have disappeared and hoping that the Brubeck LP would still be there. It was too crowded to enter, and the Brubecks were sold out long ago. Obviously, I wasn't very desperate and was mostly stopping by for afternoon fun.
I actually expected this record revival to die out, but most of the current enthusiasts are young folks compared to my 76 years.
