I'm in total agreement. Except for the fact that I never did like Joni Mitchell's music ;-)I own most of Neil Young's LPs. I loved CSNY'S music. I even "talked" to the man himself one time! My wife and I were at a small benefit concert near Santa Barbara led by David Crosby and his band CPR. Crosby kept mentioning that he had a "special guest" who would appear. Eventually Neil Young appeared on stage and played a solo acoustic set. He stopped and asked us if there was anything we'd like to hear. With only about 1,000 in attendance in the large backyard of the family sponsoring the event, I was only 40 to 50 feet from Young. I loudly yelled "Cinnamon Girl". Young looked directly at me, said "that's a good one" and began singing "Cinnamon Girl".
It's probably my favorite music memory! So I certainly do not dislike Neil Young. I dislike cancel culture. Nothing good will come from it. Both sides will get more polarized.
