Rega Arm on VPI HW19?

For the last thirty-two years I have listened to a VPI HW 19 ll turntable with an Eminent technology ll air bearing tone arm. I have developed a vision problem and I am tired of messing with the ET arm. I am considering buying a new pivoted tonearm to mount on the old VPI. The Rega RB 880 arm is one option I am considering. Does anyone have comments about the compatibility of the VPI tt and the Rega 880 arm or suggestions regarding other arms.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
