If you don't really care, the 2009 remaster seems to be quite good.
From Amazon reviews:
Abbey Road is one of the greatest albums ever, and should be in everyone's collection. But, is the newer (2009) CD version better than the older (1987) CD? Not really. This is based on listening with very good gear (both loudspeakers and headphones). The 2009 version is a bit louder, so you'll need to compensate for that if you do a side-by-side comparison. The audio is VERY similar in both releases (as documented at goodrob13-dot-com, there is even a bit more dynamic range in the 1987 CD). There are slight differences in places, but not all in favor of the 2009 remastering. You must have a copy of Abbey Road, but if you use CDs and have the 1987 one, you're already good.
Just pick up the 2009 CD for $5.77 on Amazon if it's not a must on vinyl.
