yep, something like that would be the way to go. I am looking at some very inexpensive phono preamps - sans RIAA eq - on the bay. Will be a good experiment to be able to compare. That unit got really great reviews!
At this point I have only about 15-20 LPs digitized out of ~500 in my collection. So I still have time for some experimentation. Plus I need to get my DH-101 recapped and re-transistored for the shoot out.
