Yikes that is a ton of work you did! I don't have that much ambition. I will standardize on a format and add metadata to the files later- probably either:
A: phono cartridge output direct into Mic inputs of the KORG, encoding as 24x96 PCM, then RIAA curve applied in digital using Audacity
or
B: phono cartridge output into phono input of Musical Fidelity A1-2008 integrated amp, rec output of the A1 into line level inputs of the KORG, encoding files as DSF 2.8.
DSF is more problematic in the long run for metadata, etc.
And I like the idea of recording exactly what is on the LP and keeping my options open later for application of RIAA and even other eq to compensate for cartridge, MIC inputs, etc.
