Was 1955 or 56 and was originally in mono. There are stereo versions, probably derived from the mono, not originally in stereo. Johnny Mathis is the only one who recorded the verse to the song, "Wee small hours", so far as I can recall, but we already know my memory is faulty. It's such a short ballad, and the verse is quite good.
Many think "Wee Small Hours", the album, is Sinatra's best work. I like two others at least as well, "Only the Lonely" and "Francis Albert Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim". I've got two or more copies of each, including the MOFI Only the Lonely, which while good is a bit of a disappointment sonically.
