If you can look inside the chassis's of your amplifiers, you should see a resistor connecting the hot input to ground. Or look for it at the grid (if tubes) or gate (if SS) of the first active device. That resistor usually dominates the calculation of input impedance, and you can use that value as an estimate. There ARE exceptions to this rule of thumb.
