And the new tonearms are selling more briskly, perhaps due to the addition of 10" and 12" options. Thought the price is in the 50K range. So absolutely, I know an audiophile that has three tables in the 150K range. Spend a little time on the What's Best analog forum for an education.

And it is disingenuous to comment on sound quality if one has not had a chance to audition the turntable. A friend recently came over for a listen who had a Sony mini system, "I had no idea there was better sound than my Sony.", he exclaimed to me. You don't know, what you don't know. And all else is idle speculation.
