They make a very nice vegetable brush :-).
Coincidentally I read earlier this week of someone using a goat hair brush instead of carbon fibre as he found the latter to induce micro scratches on the mirror like surface of a blank disc. I have had similar results with a Chinese knock off copy of the original Audioquest brush. I have since made sure that I have the genuine article.
Anyway back to goat hair brushes. There are currently quite a few about touted for cleaning LPs (see link). The reason that I have posted a link to this particular one is the vendor's comment about the hair's "structure and natural oils". Natural oils? Possibly transferred to my discs? On first sight it doesn't sound like a great idea to me.
