The manual will say 230 mm for pivot to spindle distance, but many who use this tonearm prefer 231.5 mm pivot to spindle distance. At that distance it is easier to set it up for Baerwald alignment. Although you could use Baerwald at 230 mm, too. By the way, you are on a good track, the combination of the FR 64S with a mid or upper range Koetsu is a very good one. I'm currently listening to my Koetsu Urushi on my FR 64S, using an 18 g Ortofon LH 9000 head shell. The Urushi never sounded as good on any other tonearm, and I've tried several over a 10-year period. The benefits of the high effective mass are not trivial.
