RE: Spinning Captain Beefheart, "Unconditionally Guaranteed."

I haven't listened to those two albums in decades, I have them and I like some of it but Unconditionally Guaranteed and Moon Beams aren't the first albums I go for when I want to listen to Beefheart. I have all his albums with multiple copies of most including some bootlegs, the three I listen to the most are:
Safe as Milk
Clear Spot
Bat Chain Puller, the original recording 1975 released by the Zappa Family Trust. If you haven't heard this you are really missing out on one of his best albums. He recorded BCP with a new Magic Band, that included Denny Walley, after he broke up the Tragic Band. BCP was never released due to legal problems but Don recorded most of the material on his next three albums but hearing the material as it was meant to be heard is a treat and Walley is a monster on slide. I always wondered why Harry Irene was on Shinny Beast, I like the song but it makes more sense on BCP. There is also a song at the end he recorded with just him an DW on guitar, a real gem. Sorry the official release is only on CD.
