But before I do that, I have a new issue with my VPI 16.5 i need to troubleshoot.
As the vacuum tube goes down to pick up the liquid, the record stops spinning.
I checked the vacuum tube clearance and it's fine. The platter is turning normally.
Someone mentioned to check the platter screws which I'll do today but I can't think of any other reason why all of a sudden the records stop spinning.
I'm wondering if it's a static issue due to the higher heat and low humidity we have experienced lately due to being in the desert.
