I think 62db of gain overall is not necessarily out of the question for the cartridge output of 0.3mV, but the risk is that the SQ will be anemic at best. There is no penalty for trying. The hooker here is that the linestage has unusually high gain (20db) compared to most. Furthermore, the OP could use a SUT with as low as a 1:5 turns ratio, if it comes to that. The result will also depend heavily on the input sensitivity of the amplifier and speaker efficiency.
