Warming the Sound

Question:

If I want to warm/make more lush the sound of my current phono preamp, would adding a Yaqin CD3 tube buffer using a pair of 6sn7 tubes do it?

Far cheaper to go this route vs a new pre or cartridge.

What do you think?
