My experience supports the idea of buying a good turntable that will last for the long term. Back in 1986 I bought a VPI HW-19 table and Eminent Technology 2 tone arm. Other than replacing a wiring harness, a belt and a new air pump for the arm the combo has been trouble free for thirty four years. As of yesterday good LPs still sound wonderful played on this rig.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
