2.8 mV into 54dB at 1kHz should work, right?

So I have a TT with a Dynavector 20x2H going into a AR PH3SE and am not getting a full sound. It sounds all mid-rangy to me.

Any suggestions on what to try to get a quality sound out of this rig?
