I'm not sure if this is a defect or normal on my new turntable, but at the end of play, after picking up the tonerarm, i bring it back to the rest, but keep the tonearm up. When i move the tonearm to the record for the next side, the tonearm cue automatically lowers the tonearm to the record surface, rather than staying up. I want to use the cue to lower the tonearm.
Im not sure if the cue lever is spring loaded.Maybe a bad spring? Or just an adjustment needed? Other than this, its a great table.
Also, i turned off the auto lift function as it sometimes triggers too early on some records.
