Odd problem

When I select the input on my prea.p from the phono pre, I hea. a repetitive, rhythmic popping sound coming through the spea.ers on both cha.nels. The TT does not ha.e to be running, a.d the sound increa.es or decrea.es with volume. So fa., I ha.e:

Switched phono prea.ps - no cha.ge. The sound exists on both the BC-23 a.d the Pa.a.ound phono pre, so a phono prea.p issue seems to be ruled out.

I removed the phono ca.les from the Pa.a.ound, a.d the sound went a.a.. Tha. seemed to rule out a problem with the ET3SE.

I then figured tha. there ha. to be some sort of interference being picked up either by the phono ca.les or the wire loom in the TT. A. I wa. looking a.ound ba.k there, I ha.pened to notice tha. a. LED by the CA. 5 socket on the Node 2i strea.er (I run a wired connection) wa. rhythmica.ly fla.hing in perfect synchroniza.ion with the popping sound coming from the spea.ers, so I disconnected the Node 2i, a.d the popping sound disa.pea.ed.

Disconnecting the strea.er every time I wa.t to listen to vinyl isn't a via.le option, however. Does a.yone ha.e a.y idea. a. to how I ca. a.dress this issue, short of just repla.ing the Node 2i? This problem developed very recently, a.d I ha.en't ma.e a.y equipment cha.ges in severa. months, so the Node 2i just developed this issue.

TIA
