You evidently know more about synthetic motor oils than I do. I use the weight and brand recommended originally for my Kenwood L07D by a well known person who uses and services L07Ds and runs the L07D dedicated website, for a few decades. I just took his word for it. I then used the same oil also in my Sp10 Mk3 and my Victor TT101. If you'll bear with me, I will have to run down to the basement to get the brand name. But it's a single weight, 20W.EDIT. The brand is "Red Line", 0W20.
Also, to your good point about synthetics, one could say that a synthetic is all additives, since it is not "real" oil. I read the container on Red Line. It is primarily one chemical, but certainly it is a mixture of ingredients, and who knows what those are?
