One post talks about the graphite impregnated Arco oil in the 70's and qc problems causing clogged filters and other bad things. I am the opposite of an expert about any of it but reading further down are some links and a claim about how the graphene platelets aren't easy to physically or chemically break down. Supposedly helps them resist bonding to the components, which unlike reactive graphite supposedly helps with corrosion.
