Understood. I've been using a Record Doctor V for years. While I think it does a good job of cleaning and doesn't have the platter issue you mention, records aren't ready for play immediately after cleaning. They require air drying. That's not terrible but it does make me wonder about the suction strength and what might be getting left on the record. Anyway, thanks for the response.
