I got a Japanese DP-47F used with a veriac (PITA) that we use in the living room. Ours looks lovely (wife loves that) and is very easy to use for my family members.
Although it was rebuilt by a well regarded guy in the Midwest it has some issues. Sometimes the arm will not travel far enough in auto mode.
IMO the arm is fairly cheap no real way to dial it in.
The thing is when it works it's very easy to use and sounds OK. I can't remember what cart is on it I think an Ortofon Red. It's somewhat large and as I said is very lovely IMO.
I spent $550.00 on mine including the rebuild two years ago I think.
