I never imagined the regulated output would have so much ripple compared to the regulator input. The regulator barely does anything to the ripple by your measurement. It fooled me since you seemed to be arguing the aftermarket supplies solutions weren't of value even though they could presumably help reduce the ripple quite a bit more than the stock regulator does.

My mistake.

My reading comprehension was obviously lacking. I didn't realize one of the scope channels was the regulated output.
